Data Science & Analysis - Statistics - Programming

In the field of data analysis, it is good to show some dependencies on charts. And that is what I wanted to present.

A new potential startup would like to have some information about the pharmaceutical market in order to be functional and efficient. In order to survive in its first years, it gathered useful data related to this topic. My role was to present this information in a proper way.
The first assumption was to create a plots that could provide insights about drugs needed for treating particular diseases. The company wants to know which types of diseases are the most profitable for treatment. The second assumption was to check the volatility of the pharma index on the US stock exchange in relation to SP500 and Euronext. This could explain whether the entire pharma business is worth engaging in and on which market (the one with less volatility), based on standard deviation measurements.

All the data is present in the following link:

Types of deaths due to specific factors in the US are presented below.

Similar data can be observed in the case of the EU.

Finally, it turns out that there is not much difference between the drug index and the indexes in the EU and the USA.

Additionally, the standard deviation values are as follows:
Pharma index: 2.7%
US - SP500: 3.8%
EU - Euronext: 4.7%
It means directly that there is not as big difference in risk exposure.
My recommendation is to invest in the production of circulatory system and cancer medications on the US market and in Europe. However, the company should also plan additional business activities to remain consistent in the market due to the large economic uncertainty.
